Salon Policies – H&S Braids

We value your time and ours. To ensure the best experience for everyone, please review our salon policies before booking your appointment.


Deposit Policy

  • A 30% deposit is required to secure your appointment.

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

  • Deposits can be submitted through:

    • Cash App

    • Venmo

    • Apple Pay

    • In-person (cash only)

  • The remaining balance is paid at the salon. We accept cash only for final payments.


Booking Policy

  • A non-refundable 5% booking fee is required at the time of booking (separate from the 30% style deposit).

  • Same-day appointments, early bookings, late-day squeeze-ins, and walk-ins are subject to a $30 convenience fee.

  • Late-night appointments (starting after 8:00 PM) incur a $30 late-night fee.

  • Holiday appointments carry an additional $56 holiday fee.


Late Policy

  • There is a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals.

  • Arrivals beyond 15 minutes will result in automatic cancellation of your appointment and forfeiture of your deposit.


Reschedule & Cancellation

  • You may reschedule or cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations made after 24 hours of booking will forfeit the deposit and require a new deposit to rebook.

  • No Call / No Show clients will not be allowed to book again.


Take Down Services

  • We offer take-down services for prior styles:

    • $50 for normal braids

    • $75 for more complex or time-intensive take-downs

  • These must be booked in advance and may take up to 3 hours.


Additional Reminders

  • Please come with your hair detangled and clean, unless you have booked a Wash & Blow Dry service.

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

  • No extra guests unless they are also being serviced.

  • Hair is included for most styles — confirm when booking.
